COVID-19 Response from 1982 CEO

COVID-19 Response

A message from our CEO

Please pardon our interruption! I have been quite busy with the COVID-19 pandemic. Along with being the founder and CEO of 1982, I am also a full-time scientist. My company has taken a global leadership position, working directly with the CDC and WHO to address the outbreak. I have also spent a great deal of time researching the virus itself and staying on top of updates. Regarding 1982, all precautionary measures have been made to ensure the well-being of both our employees and the ’82 Crew members *plug-sign up today 😊*. We are open for business and moving forward with bringing you uplifting content and pieces!  We love you and are praying for each and every one of you!

I realize that you probably hear the COVID-19 guidance constantly, but as a scientist and just because I genuinely care – I have to repeat it. Please take the below steps (from CDC) to protect yourself.

Wash your hands often - Soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol when you are not able to wash your hands. Do not touch your face with unwashed hands.

Social distancing – Avoid close contact with people. Maintaining a distance of 6 feet is recommended. Also, avoid gatherings.

Clean and disinfect – Disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily (countertops, doors, phones, keyboards, toilets, etc.). Disinfectants include diluted bleach, 70% alcohol solutions, etc.

Protect others – Stay home if you are sick. Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze. Wear a facemask if you are sick.

Stay home and speak to your healthcare provider if you develop fever, cough, or shortness of breath

If you develop emergency warning signs for COVID-19, get medical attention immediately. In adults, emergency warning signs*:

Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath

Persistent pain or pressure in the chest

New confusion or inability to arouse

Bluish lips or face

*This list is not all-inclusive. Please consult your medical provider for any other symptom that is severe or concerning.
